Fast-growing populations and urbanization worldwide are highly increasing the demands for effective and efficient planning, implementation, and control of mobility and transportation services. As the modernization of transportation infrastructures is not being performed at the same pace, commuters are not always able to identify and use the right transportation services at the right time. Goods are not also always being delivered from origins to destinations within the required timeframes and budgets. In order to reduce commuting times, reduce road traffic crashes and their tremendous costs in lives and properties, as well as ensure higher public safety, emerging technologies are being explored and integrated into transportation and mobility solutions. Indeed, recent mobile and pervasive computing technologies, including V2X, Machine Learning, IoT, Drones/UAVs, and Blockchain, are increasingly being deployed to enable humans, vehicles, goods, transportation infrastructures, communication networks, as well as data storage and processing facilities to individually and collectively meet the new requirements of citizens, clients, businesses, and governments.

The purpose of the 2nd International Conference on Recent Theories and Applications in Transportation and Mobility (RTATM 2024) is to discuss the recent advances in the fields of transportation and mobility. We cordially invite researchers, experts, and practitioners from the academy, the government sector, and the industry to present, share, and promote their breakthroughs concerning the latest related technologies, trends, and challenges toward providing the right transportation and mobility services to the right users at the right time.

The 2nd RTATM conference is going to be held in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Applied Data Science and Intelligence (ADSI 2024) and the 2nd International Conference on Informatics Revolution for Smarter Healthcare (IRSH 2024)
